Here are a few photos from my walk at Whitesbog Village.
This historic village is part of the Brendon T. Byrne State Forest. There are still many acres of active cranberry and blueberry fields nearby.
For a pleasant, quiet walk among pine-forest-type woods, pay a visit to Whitesbog Village on Route 530, in Pemberton Township, NJ, not far from Browns Mills. There are other walking and driving tours available here.
Check out their website for seasonal activities such as a blueberry festival.
I’ll be returning to this site to take the driving tour, as well as visit the art gallery and general store. I may even sign up for a birding tour.
